A monumental day, May 16th, 2023. The Five Nights at Freddy's trailer has finally dropped after fans have waited for it for eight years. After years and years of will they won't they, Blumhouse dropped the trailer two days ago and the world will never be the same. The movie stars Matthew Lillard and Josh Hutcherson as (what I'm speculating to be) the father son duo of William and Michael Afton. More information below in this Variety article.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s” is based on the video game franchise created by Scott Cawthon, which released its first entry in 2014 and quickly rocketed to massive popularity. Throughout the different games, players are tasked with surviving the onslaught of hostile animatronic characters inside the haunted Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant, using security cameras, lights and doors to survey the area.
